Computer education at St. Rose focuses on the ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) National Educational Technology Standards. There are multimedia computers located in each classroom as well as the computer laboratory. All computers have safe access to the Internet.

Keyboarding, spreadsheet, database, PowerPoint presentation, publishing, graphic organizers and multimedia/Internet research is taught by the computer skills instructor.

Students in Pre-K four-year-olds through grade 5 receive computer instruction once per week. Students in grades 6 through 8 receive computer instruction three times weekly. The computer skills instructor provides an interdisciplinary approach on all levels.
