St. Rose of Lima’s Preschool offers children a loving Catholic community setting in which to grow and learn. The curriculum for the preschool is designed to make each child's first school experience a positive one.

The Pre-K3 program is offered in the morning (8:30 to 11:30AM) either as a three day program (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) or five day program (Monday through Friday) with approximately eighteen students per session. Students may be dropped off in the gym as early as 8:00AM.

All three year-olds must be TOILET TRAINED BY SEPTEMBER in order to be accepted into the preschool program.

The four year-old program is offered five days per week in the morning (8:30 to 11:30 AM) with approximately eighteen students per session. Students may be dropped off in the gym as early as 8:00AM.

A “Poppins” program from 11:30 to 2:30 PM is available for three and four year-olds who occasionally wish to extend the day, at an additional daily fee of $20.00. Parents of newly enrolled preschool children must submit a completed yellow immunization form and a preschool parent questionnaire before the beginning of school in September. These forms will be given to parents when the child’s place has been confirmed.

All preschool classes are taught by certified teachers, assisted by an aide; class size is approximately 16 students.

Classrooms are bright, cheerful, and designed to encourage student exploration and discovery. Learning Centers are arranged to address monthly themes and to build upon the necessary readiness skills. Pre-school children also enjoy the use of an outdoor playground facility, the school gymnasium, music room, and technology center.
