St. Rose maintains high academic standards, as shown by the students results on standardized tests. In 2013, St. Rose students scored above both the diocesan and national averages on the Terra Nova standardized test. Additionally, a number of seventh and eighth graders have qualified to participate in the Johns Hopkins University Talent Search, which recognizes exceptional mathematical and verbal reasoning abilities and gives middle-school students the opportunity to take the SAT. St. Rose students have also received medals for achievement in the National Latin Exam and Mythology Exam.
St. Rose has been recognized as a 2013 National Blue Ribbon School. In 2010 (and 2007) we received the Catholic Schools of Tomorrow Innovations in Education Award - one of only 12 elementary and high schools in the nation to be so named by Catholic Teacher Magazine.
