St. Rose of Lima’s Preschool offers children a loving Catholic community setting in which to grow and learn. The curriculum for the preschool is designed to make each child's first school experience a positive one.
All preschool classes are taught by certified teachers, each one assisted by an aide.
Classrooms are bright, cheerful and designed to encourage student exploration and discovery. Learning Centers are arranged to address weekly themes and to build upon the necessary readiness skills. Pre-school children also enjoy the use of an outdoor playground facility, the school gymnasium, music room and technology center.
The Pre-K3 program is offered everyday (8:25 to 2:25 AM) either as a three day program (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) or five day program (Monday through Friday) with approximately fifteen students per session. Students have the option to leave at 11:25 for a half day.
All three year-olds must be TOILET TRAINED BY SEPTEMBER in order to be accepted into the preschool program.
The Pre-K4 program is offered five days a week running from 8:25 to 2:25 PM.
Parents of newly enrolled preschool children must submit a completed yellow immunization form and a preschool parent questionnaire before the beginning of school in September. These forms will be given to parents when the child’s place has been confirmed.
