Happy Birthday, Fr. Larry! ?
|
|
Students were happy to help celebrate Fr. Larry's birthday (one day early) after morning prayers this morning, surprising him with a cards, balloons, flowers, and SRLA blue-and-gold birthday cake. Enjoy, Fr. Larry, and many happy returns!

Welcome back to school from the SRLA HSA!
The HSA, or Home School Association, is a group of volunteer parents who work together to raise funds for our operating budget, to make improvements to our school, and to bring in wonderful cultural programs for our children and their continued education.
Each school family agrees to volunteer with the HSA when they register at SRLA, and there are lots of ways for you to get involved! The Mandatory HSA Signup breaks down various volunteer opportunities at SRLA so parents can choose where to participate and what works best with their schedule. And don't worry—all events are supported by the HSA and Chairs, so we will be there every step of the way!
|
|
Please pick a spot for each parent/guardian by November 1. Volunteer hours will be assessed at the end of the year and fees will be charged at that time if you decide not to volunteer. If you would like to opt-out for the year, a $350 fee will be charged to your Blackbaud account.

Spirit wear may not be worn in place of the regular or gym uniform, but students may sport their spirit wear:
- on dress down days
- on special spirit wear days
- on student birthdays
- as outerwear, then removed once in school, or
- all over town to show your SRLA spirit!

|
Please look out for information from your class parents about upcoming class "teas." These informal gatherings give parents a chance to meet and to learn important information about each grade's plans and events for the upcoming year.

There's Still Time to Clear the List!
|
|
Our vibrant SRLA community has always shown incredible support for our school and teachers, and we're delighted to launch Clear the List this year, a nationwide movement to help teachers by purchasing supplies from their wish lists.
Just click a teacher's name below to access their Amazon Wish List, and please remember to have items shipped to school addressed with the teacher's name (52 Short Hills Ave., Short Hills, NJ 07078).
Thank you for your generosity in support of our remarkable educators!
