Christmas Gift Giving Program

We still need volunteers to purchase 35 more gifts!

We need additional $600 cash donations for gift cards for our senior recipients!

One of the most special traditions at St. Rose of Lima Academy is here again...our Christmas Gift Giving Program! Through this program we make sure that there is at least one present under the tree for the children of St. Rose of Lima Church in Newark and the seniors and families of St. Joseph’s Social Service Center in Elizabeth. Please consider helping these children, families and seniors during the Christmas holidays.

Ways to participate:

Sign up here to buy gifts (and/or be a shopper).

Donate money here and our holiday shoppers will buy the gifts to save you time.

This is such a lovely way to give back during the holiday season and a great way to get your children involved in giving as well.

In the Classroom...

Ms. Braun and her art students have been busy creating beautiful projects this fall! Each year, Ms. Braun begins by reading The Dot by Peter Reynolds, using the story to inspire students’ exploration of dots and circles as elements of art. Featured here are vibrant Yin Yang and abstract circle projects from fourth and fifth graders, showcasing their creativity and understanding of these shapes.

The changing seasons also serve as inspiration for Ms. Braun’s projects. Third graders have brought autumn to life with their tree artwork, while a bulletin board display features colorful contributions from first, second, and fourth graders. It’s been a season full of imagination and artistic growth!
