Parent Letter November 18th, 2020
Dear Parents,
St. Rose of Lima Academy will be proactive and take steps to minimize in-person contact at school in the coming weeks.
- Upon return from Thanksgiving Break, all classes, school-wide, learning will be virtual for Monday, 11/30 and Tuesday, 12/1/2020. The two days will run from 8:10-12:10 each day and a special schedule will be sent out next week. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 12/2, 12/3, and 12/4, will be in-seat and full days.
- In addition, upon return from Christmas break, the week of 1/4-1/8/2021 will be on-line as well. Again, the week will run from 8:10-12:10 each day and a second special schedule will be sent out closer to the break.
- Finally, aftercare will not run after 11/20/2020 until we return in-seat on 1/11/2021. So our last day of aftercare for this year will be Friday, November 20, 2020.
I urge every member of the SRLA community to do everything possible to help stop the spread of this virus by continuing to wear a mask, practice social distancing and thorough handwashing (20 seconds, using soap and water), as well as sanitizing common-use surfaces as you plan your holiday time.
We all have a role to play in staying healthy, stopping the spread of COVID-19 and getting this pandemic under control. Please remain vigilant and do all that you can do to protect yourself and those around you during this critical time. I send my best wishes to you and your family for a happy and restful Thanksgiving break.
Sincerely,
Principal Underwood
