Parents,
When emailing when your student will be absent or a dismissal change, please copy your student's teacher and be sure that your e-mail subject line indicates a change in pick up or a student being absent.
It is also helpful to let us know if the student is aware of the change in dismissal.
Please note that it is best if you do not email by replying to a previous email as the subject line such as RE : Lunch menu, RE : Raven Rundown.
Thank youDear Middle School Parents,
I am happy to announce that working on the school newspaper for the 2021-2022 school year has begun! The Raven’s Nest school newspaper will be published three times this year once in the seasons of fall, winter, and spring. As of October 4th, students will be able to participate as “journalists” in various ways such as an editor, writer, illustrator, photographer, or co coordinator.
As discussed in class, meetings will be virtual (no need to worry about pick up) each Monday from 3:30-4:00 through a Google Meet link that is posted on Google Classroom. Many of your children have signed up for a position and are very excited to be a part of this collaborative effort.
We will be working hard to bring many stories about the events happening at SRLA to the community and cannot wait to bring it one the best school newspapers to life with all our many talents and skills!
If you have any further questions, please feel free to email me at
Best regards,
Mrs. Muller
