There are many tools we use at SRLA to keep our students safe and our school healthy, and pictured is just one of them, our overnight room sanitizer!
The ultraviolet sanitizer is a smart machine in that, should someone during after-school hours inadvertently open a classroom while it is undergoing sanitizing, the machine automatically turns itself off!

St. Hubert’s rescues innocent animals from abuse and neglect daily. The donations made by the SRLA family will allow St. Hubert’s to expand their pet pantry, assist training classes and continue rescuing every day!
SRLA has been declared a generous friend to St. Hubert’s to serve as a reminder of just how our contributions support a more just and humane world in which all animals, and their people, can thrive.

Student Council Pays It Forward
SRLA Student Council would like to thank everyone who has supported our fundraisers so far this school year. Through this support, we were able to make donations of $125 each to:
- Table to Table (Hasbrouck Heights)
- MEND (Essex County, parent charity to Pierre Toussaint Food Pantry)
- Newark Salvation Army (in memory of Tim Middleton)
- Ronald McDonald House (Long Branch)

BINGO Tickets Are Going Fast!

Join us for a night of BINGO and BAGS on Saturday, February 26! Doors open at 6 pm and BINGO starts at 7 pm.
Buy your tickets now for this great (adults only!) event. Tickets are $35 each and include 12 rounds of BINGO.
The night will also include:
- A Lucky Draw Raffle where you can buy tickets to win fun accessories! ($25/sheet)
- A Golden Raffle where you can buy tickets to win one of THREE even more fabulous purses, retailing for $400 or more! ($10/ticket)
- A complimentary Wine Bar, generously sponsored by SRLA parent Ann Laskowski…and also feel free to BYOB!
Due to current COVID restrictions, this event is open only to current SRLA families and staff. A limited number of tickets will be sold and tickets will not be available at the door, so act fast!

Basketball Families: We need your help!
Please lend a hand at our home games by serving as scorekeeper, running the clock/scoreboard, or assisting with snack bar sales. There are many time slots available to volunteer at your child's game.

Byron Maddox, Jr., '18

On National Signing Day this past Wednesday, Byron Maddox, Jr., currently a senior at Seton Hall Prep, committed to Hobart and William Smith Colleges to continue his academic and athletic career playing football next year. He was also awarded the William Scandling ‘49 Trustee Merit Scholarship.
Bravo, Byron! And congratulations to proud parents Byron Sr. and Karen, and sister Lauren, SRLA 6th grader.
