THANKSGIVING TOURNAMENT SUCCESS!

The Thanksgiving Basketball Tournament was the perfect way to "tip off" the season! The energy was high and the gym was full of cheers for St. Rose! 

GAME RESULTS:

St. Mike’s Union beat St. John the Apostle in our 7/8 boys division 42-27

St. Rose of Lima beat St. Michael’s Cranford in our 3/4 girls division 3-0

IHM beat St. Rose of Lima in our 3/4 boys division 38-7

St. Mike’s Union beat St. Rose of Lima in our 7/8 girls division 35-8

St. Catherine of Siena beat OLP in our 5/6 boys division 45-30

Our St. Rose of Lima 7/8 boys played two tough games against St. Mike’s Union and St. Catherine’s of Siena losing both but battling hard.

Our St. Rose of Lima 5/6 boys played two tough games against OLP and St. Michael’s Cranford going 1 – 1 losing to OLP 39-21 on Friday but bouncing back on Saturday 52-37 to beat St. Michael’s Cranford and finish in 3rd place.

HUGE shout out to the players, the coaches, the fans and of course, the volunteers! We know that it’s a BIG ask to sacrifice time during Thanksgiving break and we appreciate you SO much!

It’s everyone’s favorite time of the year…the SRLA Christmas Boutique! The boutique will run from Wednesday Dec. 10th to Friday Dec. 12th.

Your class parents will give you the specific day and time that your child will be visiting the boutique. In the event that your child forgets a gift or maybe you forget to send in money, they will have another opportunity to visit the boutique during the week! Flyers were sent home with your child earlier this week.

*Parents are more than welcome to shop with their children.

KIDS NIGHT OUT!

The HSA will be hosting its first ever

Kids Night Out KIDS-MAS PARTY!

Let us watch your kids while you take some much needed time to yourself! We will have pizza and snacks, do a Christmas themed craft and watch a Christmas movie! OH and don’t forget to wear your favorite holiday pajamas! So go ahead and have a nice dinner, catch up on some shopping or just stay home and enjoy the quiet time…you deserve it! (all children must be potty trained to attend.)

REGISTRATION CLOSES DEC. 9th!

Christmas Gifts Are Due Next Week

If you so generously signed up for our Christmas gift giving program, gifts are due back by Dec. 9th! We will have Christmas elves collecting gifts outside during drop off on Monday, or you can leave them at the front desk with Danny.

PLEASE FOLLOW SAFE DROP-OFF PROCEDURES!

Dear SRLA Families,  

Several of our parents received tickets earlier this week. Please see the email below that a Millburn official sent to the school.

Please pull into the parking lot and safely drop off your children. Again, for the safety of all our children, Please Do Not Pull onto the sidewalk or stop in front of the school's office. Also, please do not drive over the sidewalk running down the center of the church parking lot.

I also ask for your cooperation in not parking in the Weichert Realtor parking lot at anytime. 

The manager complained that his employees and clients many times cannot get a parking space and they see people crossing over to the school. Students must cross with the crossing guard who is on duty at 7 am and leaves at the end of the day at 4:15.
