Hello from your SRLA HSA!
We hope you have been enjoying a wonderful summer vacation! School is right around the corner, and we are so excited to have the school bustling with children and teachers again!
The SRLA HSA, or Home School Association, is our school's liaison between school and home. We work together to raise necessary funds for our operating budget, make improvements to our school, and bring in wonderful programs for our children and their continued education.
Below is our "Mandatory Sign Up" list that each family agreed to participate in when they registered at SRLA. This signup breaks down the different volunteer departments at SRLA so parents can choose where they prefer to participate, or what works best with their schedule. Please take a look at the list below and simply sign up (each parent or guardian) for whichever fundraising or volunteering event you'd like to be involved in for the 2021-22 school year. It's that simple! And, don't worry, all events are supported by the HSA so we will be there every step of the way!

Volunteering is a magical thing for our school community - we simply can't be SRLA without you! We also couldn't continue to grow and thrive as a school without the time, efforts, talents and contributions of each family. We have made beautiful friends, created new & enjoyable events, raised much needed funds, and brought forth exciting changes to our school. And, nothing beats the smiles on our children's faces when we volunteer at their school! So, grab a friend and help lead an event you love, or try something new! Think you are too busy? We have something for you! We appreciate all the different ways our families support SRLA!

Please be sure to PICK A SLOT by November 1,2021. Volunteer hours will be assessed at the end of the year and fees will be assessed at that time. If you would like to opt out for the year, a $350 fee will be charged to your SMART Tuition account.
Lastly, we know there will still be important events to support that come up throughout the year: 8th grade fundraising, class events, Christmas gift giving, and donations for Wish Upon a Star, just to name a few. Our hope is for this to be a baseline for volunteering, yet still allows families the ability to support SRLA and its many special events.
