Peace, Love, and Hip Hop

The Hip-Hop Fundamentals crew brought their fresh moves and Philly flavor to SRLA and turned the Ravens Nest into a raucous dance floor! This incredibly dynamic and talented dance team got the students and teachers out of their seats with a whirlwind display of floor moves, popping and locking, uprocking and backspins. It was a funky and fun way to learn about about one of the core elements of hip-hop and see fellow SRLA students and faculty get down and bust a move!

Open House This Sunday

SRLA will be hosting an Open House this Sunday, April 11 from 11am to 1pm, with teachers and students leading tours of the school.

Please extend an invitation to local friends or family who may be interested in attending SRLA. No pre-registration is required.

Get Ready to Walk!

The SRLA Walk-a-Thon is just around the corner, on Friday, April 29!

Visit the donation site today to start fundraising. T-shirts will be provided for every student!

Raven Accolades

Congratulations are in order for four members of the SRLA family who were honored this past weekend!

Eighth Grader Matthew Dion participated in the Celebration of the Eucharist for Outstanding Catholic School Graduates at the Sacred Heart Chapel in Kearny, presided over by Rev. Msgr. Thomas J. McDade, Ed.D., Vicar for Education/Interim Superintendent of Schools.

At the CYO Athletics Recognition Ceremony held at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, eighth graders Chloe Mansfield and Ryan Fay were each honored with the Sportsmanship Award for displaying outstanding sportsmanship through service or actions on and off the athletic field.

In addition, Athletic Director and dedicated SRLA parent Harcourt Lucius was presented with the Discipleship Award for his tireless efforts and commitment to SRLA's students.
