Raven Pride

The Raven’s Nest was filled with pride at the annual fall and winter sports awards banquet on Wednesday. A warm thank you to Athletic Director Harcourt Lucius and to all of the volunteers. And a special shout out to SRLA’s Otti family for the generous food donation from their business, HLS Juice Bar and Grill!

Reminder that school will be closed on Holy Thursday, April 6.

Students will return to school Monday, April 17 in summer uniforms!

Last Call for Yearbooks

Yearbook orders are due by Wednesday, April 5!

Take a Chance in the WISH Grand Raffle

The Grand Raffle is an exciting part of WISH, and one of our most important (and easiest!) fundraisers. Two booklets of Grand Raffle tickets went home yesterday—please sell them to your family and friends for a chance to win a Visa gift card!

Grand Prize: $1,500

2nd Prize: $1,000

3rd Prize: $500

Each ticket is $10. The winning tickets will be drawn at Wish Upon a Star on Friday, May 5, and ticket holders need not be present to win! You can purchase tickets by credit card through Blackbaud or by check to SRLA HSA. Please return completed ticket stubs and checks to school by Tuesday, May 2.

Make Your Plans for Summer Camp

Get ready for SRLA's Summer Camp, Summer Fun! We have been planning many new and exciting activities, and can't wait to begin!

Camp is held Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 1:30 pm.
$200 per week for the first child and $175 per week for each additional child
$100 per week for a Counselor-in-Training (9+)
Each week camp will be paid via check made out to SRLA, memo: Summer Camp
Campers must be entering PreK-3 (and potty-trained!) through third grade.
Campers come dressed in their bathing suits (underneath clothing), wear sunscreen, and water shoes or flip flops.
Campers must bring: a beach towel, additional sunscreen, a change of clothes, a nut-free snack and lunch, and a reusable water bottle each day.

Week 1, June 12 - June 16: Dinosaurs!

Week 2, June 19 - June 23: Going Bananas! Minion Style

Week 3, June 26 - June 30: Down on the Farm

Week 4, July 3 - July 7 (Pro-rated for 4th of July, $160 for the week): My Home Sweet Home

Week 5, July 10 - July 14: Sports and Games

Week 6, July 17 - July 21: Backyard BBQ

Meeting for 7th Grade Families

Dear 7th Grade Families,

Please join us on Tuesday, May 9 at 7pm in the media center for an informative meeting on what to expect in 8th grade. Mrs. Underwood and a few 8th grade parents who have gone through this process will be there to help answer your questions and share their experiences. We know we have some 7th grade parents that just went through the 8th grade process last year and may not need this information again, but we would love to have you come to help answer any questions that come up!
